Sharlita Boyd is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Psychotherapist, and the founder of Crafting Balance, LLC. With nearly a decade of experience, Sharlita is passionate about helping women, young adults, BIPOC individuals, couples, and families find relief, clarity, and direction through personalized mental health care.
Her approach is warm, down-to-earth, and rooted in evidence-based practices. She creates a safe, affirming space where clients can explore who they are, what they need, and how they want to grow—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions, Sharlita meets you where you are with compassion, cultural humility, and respect.
Sharlita provides telehealth services to clients in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and North Carolina, offering flexible, accessible care designed to fit your life.
Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys eco-travel, creative projects, learning new things, and laughing at a good comedy special. She brings the same intention and joy to her personal life as she does to her work—always seeking balance, connection, and meaning.
