Behind The Balance
“I help my clients do the inner work without losing themselves in the process.” As the founder of Crafting Balance, LLC, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, Sharlita believes in “doing the work,” — in session, we drop the mask and discuss real themes that affect everyday people.
“I believe healing in community supports connection, courage, and real transformation.”
Working with Sharlita feels less like being “treated” and more like being supported by someone who brings evidence-based tools, a grounded presence, and genuine care to every session—meeting clients exactly where they are. She provides accessible, telehealth-based therapy in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and North Carolina. Outside of her professional work, Sharlita stays inspired through faith, eco-tourism, creative projects, baking, and fitness. That same curiosity and intentionality carry into her practice, where balance, connection, and meaning guide everything she does.
